I think every one gets bored of their wardrobe at one time or the other but right now I am loving the pieces that I have at the moment. I get so excited when I have to get dressed on my days off. Iv accumulated over the past few months some really great items that I think have created the perfect Pick and Mix wardrobe.
Its important to have diversity in your wardrobe so you don't get bored of wearing the same outfit over and over again. It can be so easy to just chuck on a pair of skinny jeans and a jumper and call it a day but when I go out and catch my reflection in the mirror I don't feel inspired by my outfit. Don't get me wrong some days comfy and boring is all I can be bothered to do but when I spend most of my days wearing the same black jeans and white shirt I look forward to my days off when I can experiment with fashion and express myself fully.
Each item on this little mood board I have put together can be pieced with another to create a really easy and yet stylish look whether that's for a day of hitting the shops, a coffee date or a night of sipping cocktails with your gal pals.

Iv put together a couple of outfits using a few items from this board and how you could edit and add items to completely change the look.

I absolutely loved this outfit I wore a week or so ago to go shopping with my mum. I felt seriously cool while staying comfy. I paired a pair of crimped culottes with a pale pink nightie with a white T-shirt underneath. I chucked on a denim oversized jacket, grey suede trainers and some small black sunnies for a cool on trend look. To dress this outfit up for a more evening look I would swap the denim jacket for a fur coat, change the shoes to a small heal or smart flat and add some hoop earrings for added drama.

With this outfit I took a simple pair of black skinny jeans with rips at the knee (which normally really annoys me) and tried to create a more edgy look, using oversized black sunglasses, fishnet socks and this fabulous Zebra print coat which I have posted about on here before. I love the simplicity of this look, I didn't put a top on under the coat, instead opting to show off my favourite bra but you could put a kami top underneath if that makes you more comfortable. I would wear this outfit anywhere but if you wanted to dress it up a little you could add some healed boots, statement earrings and a cute clutch and you are ready for a classy night out (or not).
Its okay to re-wear and re-use items from your wardrobe. We cant all afford to go and buy a new wardrobe when we get bored with certain items. Try experimenting with different looks and I'm sure you'll fall back in love with an old jumper or pair of jeans.
Sometimes you do just have to retire some clothes but don't forget to donate or sell as much as you can, what may not be for you may be perfect for someone else. Also go shopping in charity shops, you are contributing to a great cause and you can find some serious gems.
