As this blog Is called the happiness hut I thought I would share one of the things that makes me happy. I love my room, its big and spacious and full of things that make me happy, my makeup, my clothes, my shower etc. but one thing I don't think I will ever get rid of are my photos. Its probably one of the things people notice first when they come in to my room.

Every picture in my room has a story behind it. Whether the picture is with friends who I am no longer in touch with or my family who I love and miss dearly I keep them up so I can see them whenever I want to and you will probably see a lot of them on this blog.
I have suffered from depressive tendencies and anxiety attacks from time to time since being at University. Since having these pictures it has helped when I am feeling down or having an attack to focus me and remind me of the people I love and the amazing times I have had in my short life. We all have times when we wish we could run away or be someone else entirely but that would mean I wouldn't have the amazing family, friends and memories in these pictures and for those I would live through all the shit times 10 times over.
I sit looking at the wall of pictures that has grown over the last 10 months from one door of my wardrobe to 3 and I remember that iv made so many new and wonderful experiences, such as;

- Getting my first full time job
- Meeting loads of new and amazing people
- Graduating university
- Welcoming my newest baby brother in to the world
- Celebrating my 21st birthday with my family and a surprise from my mum
This is a calming place for me, I come here to be happy. I come here to cry when I'm feeling down and I look at my wall of happiness and remember how blessed I am and how many more amazing memories I have to create in 2018.
I think in a time where our lives are lived through social media it is so important to print off your pictures and keep them safe. I wont always have this wall of photos up, I know as I grow and I make new memories old photos will be replaced. I enjoy nothing more than sitting at my grandparents and looking through photo albums. Its like watching their lives in pictures and I hear a new incredible story every time I see those photos. I want to be able to have that, to sit down in 10 years and look at those photos and retell the stories behind the photos that once hung on my wall. Take time to print off your pictures, because one day Instagram and Facebook wont be around, you may not have those pictures to remind you of all the amazing times your have had.
P.s. This outfit is entirely Primark and I love it. I love taking pictures of my outfits and posing up a storm, I'm fed up of being worried about being judged, I'm all for being you and doing what makes you happy. BTW my mum is my photographer and she takes a rather good picture tbh.
